Part One: Let’s Talk About Hospice
This introduction to hospice services will provide insight into hospice eligibility, signs that someone may be ready for hospice, the hospice interdisciplinary team, and services provided by hospice. We will also dispel some common myths.
Part Two: The Many Faces of Grief
Loss and grief are a normal part of life. This presentation will explore the spectrum of grief, show us how to recognize grief in ourselves and others, and provide helpful resources.
Part Three: Advance Care Planning
Advance Care Planning may help reduce stress by preparing for whatever the future holds for you. We will discuss the Maine Health Care Advance Directive Form, introduce you to the POLST, and provide other resources to aid in planning.
