Coming Soon… CareNet: The Direct Care Network.
The goal of CareNet—The Direct Care Network is to provide:
…..quality networking, idea-gathering, problem-solving and learning opportunities for a balanced mix of people at all skill levels in the direct care business.
CareNet is being designed for both newbies and more experienced direct care workers, behavioral health professionals (BHPs), case managers & care coordinators, DSPs, CNAs/nurse’s aides, respite workers, and others in similar positions.
CareNet will offer an organization where members can network with one another, as well as with other professionals in the direct care field. We will provide an opportunity for newbies to learn the from more experienced workers (hopefully making fewer mistakes along the way than we did), and for experienced staff to gain even more skills.
Anyone involved as a direct care worker will be welcome to join.
CareNet will consist of several local chapters, each with bi-monthly meetings. Members will be invited and encouraged to attend meetings in other chapters as well as their own.
