This was a great class, and although I have extensive experience in the fields of aging, mental health/mental illness, and various disabilities, I still learned a lot.
Although there is no state or national requirement that End of Life Doulas (who are non-medical practitioners) earn any kind of license or certification, I still wanted to go through a formal course of study.
And here’s my certificate!
I’m also a member of two national EOLD associations: NEDA (National End of Life Doula Alliance) and INELDA (International End-of-Life Doula Association).
